Woman ‘going through hard times’ found dead in her room in Rivers
The body of a woman has been found in her apartment in Ogbumbada compound in Rumalogu in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The woman identified as Blessing Williams, was found dead in her room on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
A source, who pleaded anonymity, told Punch that the deceased, a single mother, has been going through hard times.
She added that her mother has been giving a helping hand to the deceased and her son for days.
“This morning, I was in my house when the son was passing by. So my mom called him and asked how his mom was,” the source said.
“He said his mom is fine. She then asked the boy to go home, have his bath, and come back so that she would give him some money to get something for him and his mom.
“Not up to 20 minutes; he rushed back and said he had been calling his mom, and she was not answering.
“I now followed him, and truly the mom was dead. For three days, we have been the ones feeding them.”
