“I didn’t land in hospital after marathon” – Man who trekked from Lagos to Port Harcourt opens up

Promise Wosu Junior, the man who successfully trekked from Lekki, Lagos to Port Harcourt, Rivers state has emphasized that he didn’t land in any hospital.


You may recall that young man had commenced the daring task some days ago and had received all-round support from Nigerians who urged him to his finish line.

However, viral reports had stated that he landed in the hospital after undertaking the task.

In an exclusive interview with LegitNG, the young man noted that he didn’t land in any hospital; rather, he had visited a clinic for bed rest after undertaking the strenuous activity.

Additionally, he revealed that he was received into Port Harcourt by the governor, Simi Fubara.

He said …

“I took the Lekki-epe expressway to Ijebu Ode, then headed Ore-ondo, to Benin – Sapele – Warri- Ugheli – East-West Road, then to Port Harcourt. It was adventurous.”
