Another Fresh Attack In Nigeria: Gunmen Invade Several Villages And Slaughtered 35 People In Zamfara State (Photos below)

The state Government of Zamfara, under the leadership of Gov. Bello Matawalle has been asked to take immediate and quick action to curb insecurity problem in the state as unknown gunmen again slaughtered over 34 people in a new attack.

Torixus was told that many communities; Asha- lafiya, Rayau, Munkuru, Mahuta, Talli and Dutsin Gari, were attacked during the weakened by unknown Gunmen.

The recent development was said to have resulted residents to leave their homes and seek protection in another places. Confirming the tragic event, the Emir of Maru, Alhaji Abubakar Gado Maigari, told newsmen and the state Governor that the affected communities are currently in terrible situations as they speak.


He made the disclosure while touring Governor Matawalle around the affected places. The Governor paid sympathy visit to the affected villages and while speaking about the events, he assured villagers that his government would come to their aid in no distant time.

He told his followers that his administration would employ enough security personnel to specific areas in other to restore peace so that people could return to their respective homes.

” I want to sincerely sympathize with you over the attacks and loss of your loved ones. I assure you that I will do everything within my powers to make sure that you go back to your respective villages. ” he said.

He also said that he will send palliatives to all affected people in no distant time.

Speaking about his opposition, he said that some heartless and unpatriotic politicians in the state are very happy with the recent loss of lives in the communities.

Meanwhile, he assured that his government would do everything within it’ s power to fish out those behind the outrageous crime and serve them punishment as contained in the law.


Also, the Kaduna state government has vowed to apprehend any street beggar, well- known as Almajiri found roaming about the Kaduna metropolis.
