Man Allegedly Slaps Policeman Twice, Threatens Entire Team After Lagos Crash (Details below)
A man slapped a police officer – two times – and threatened the entire team deployed to an accident scene he had caused in Lagos, Police have said.
Police say the unnamed suspect has been arrested and handed over to Alausa Police Station “for necessary action”.
The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos state police command shared images of the incident on Twitter, but didn’t state how he caused the accident.
It isn’t also clear how serious the crash was, but one photo shows a scratched and dented Toyota Camry.
Another photo also showed the suspect and a policeman – presumably the one who was allegedly slapped – appearing to exchange words.
“This man who caused an accident along Governor’s Road, Ikeja has been arrested for slapping a Police officer twice and threatening the entire team deployed to the scene when the accident occurred. He has been handed over to Alausa Police Station for necessary action. #TheGoodGuys,” said the tweet.
