So Sad! After WAEC Student Checked His Result, He Did Not Fail But Saw This Instead

It is no longer news that The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the results for the school candidates who wrote their exams moments after restrictions from Covid-19 were raised for final students.

Only six week after the conclusion the last paper, the body had released the results of the students nationwide and several of the students nationwide were quite happy after they checked their result, considering the number of students who cleared all their papers and had good grades.

Several News platforms had carried updates of a young lady who managed to get nine (9) distinctions (A’s), even in difficult subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

There was also a father who had promised to take his daughter to enjoy herself after why checked she trustresukt and passed with distinctions, he had made his father proud by clearing all his results.

It is of course one thing to fail, and another to pass, but it is entirely a different sorry story for this WAEC students who check his results and find out that she is not able to verify if he passed or even failed any of his subjects.

His results were all branded with the ‘Held‘ tag and all his subjects had been withheld by the board, based on unknown grounds.

There are speculations that those whose results were branded with the tag either partook in examination malpractice of had made errors in their submission, there are also Arabella other reasons one’s result could be withheld.

It is also said that anyone whose results was withheld, might end up not being able to see the results ever again because the board might not later upload the results and they will have to rewrite the examination.

The reaction of the students after checking his results and sending it to his friend on Whatsapp, says all his feeling regarding the results. He used a crying emoji, while also lamenting “Oh My God!”.

But it is so sad for the girl not to be able to see her grades after having studied very much to write the exam, and having to be delayed extra time by the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown impositions.
