I Won’t Rest Until Dapchi Schoolgirls Are Rescued – Buhari Speaks In Yobe (Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari has spoken out on the Chibok and Dapchi schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram and how they will be released and reunited with their families.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, arrived in Maiduguri , and shortly departed to Yobe State as part of nationwide visit to trouble areas in the country.

Buhari who was in the presidential jet that landed at Maiduguri International Airport at about 11.01 am, was received by Gov. Kashim Shettima of Borno, Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Obayomi Olonishakin, National Security Adviser (NSA) Retired Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno and other service chiefs.

While speaking during a town hall meeting with Governor of Yobe state, Ibrahim Gaidam, traditional, community leaders and other stakeholders in the State, the President promised not to rest until all the Chibok and Dapchi schoolgirls are released and reunited with their families.

The meeting was held at government house, Damaturu, the state capital.

Buhari is also expected to meet with parents of the 110 students were abducted from Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi, who were abducted on February 19.
