“Now That NYSC Has Testified That His Certificate Is Fake I Plead That He Resigns Immediately” – Okonkwo Lament
Lawyer and member of the labour party, Kenneth Okonkwo has asked the new Gov of Enugu state, Peter Mbah to immediately resign.
According to Okonkwo, the governor should resign from Office after representatives from the National Youth service Corp, NYSC, testified at the Enugu state governorship election tribunal that his certificate is fake.
It is no longer news that the Enugu state labor party governorship candidate, Chijioke Edeoga is currently at the court challenging his victory.
The case has been on for a while and the court has held several sittings.
Okonkwo said that the best thing for the governor to do now is to resign from Office after NYSC testified against him at the court.
He said in a saner cline, now that his certificate has been confirmed to be fake, he would have resigned honorably and not wait to be disgraced
