Simon Ekpa Sends Message To The Nigerian Army After His Men Enforcing ‘NO Election’ In S’East Were Killed (Video below)
Simon Ekpa , a self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, has challenged men of the Nigerian Army to flout his sit-at-home order today, February 20th, 2023, if they have the capacity to withstand his gunmen.
His challenge comes a day after the Nigerian Army gunned down his men who attacked a police station in Onitsha, Anambra State.
Reports say the attackers were shouting ‘No Elections’ in Anambra State before they were repelled by army troops at 3-3 police station in Onitsha.
Today, Ekpa who shared a video showing how people complied to his sit-at-home order in the South-East, called out the Nigerian Army.
He wrote.
“This is what Nigeria terrorists in uniform have been doing against Biafra civilians. Show of force against innocent people without any provocation and the @HQNigerianArmy, Nigeria news brag about it on social media. Tell them to come out today as we are sitting at home.”
In a subsequent tweet accompanied with a video, Simon Ekpa said: This is Aba in Abia State today 20.2.2023. A city of over 3million people sitting at home & ready to stop Nigeria fraudulent election. With this massive compliance, it is a referendum on its own & vote of no confidence on all political leaders from Biafra.”

Prior to now, myriad of Nigerians had frowned at Simon Ekpa’s determination to divide Nigeria and disrupt the forthcoming general election in the South-East region of the country.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, the IPOB agitator had announced what he said will be a mega Biafran protest across Europe, America and Asia this week, demanding to secede Nigeria through a referendum.
He also ordered protesters to carry placards that read ‘No Election In Biafra Land’ during the protest.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian army had sent a message to him among other secessionists who are bent on disrupting the forthcoming general elections in the South-East region.
According to the army, the gunmen terrorising the South-East region of the country cannot stop the forthcoming 2023 general elections in the region because they do not have what it takes to carry out their threats.
The Nigerian Army also said that the armed criminals could not overpower the military and other security agencies during the elections.
In a media chat with newsmen in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital, the Commanding Officer, 24 Support Engineering Regiment, Abakaliki, Lt. Col. Sunday Atomode was quoted as saying:
“We have superior weapons and superior strategy to tackle the miscreants.
“Let me say this, elections will hold in Ebonyi State peacefully. Those saying that there won’t be elections in Ebonyi State and South East do not have what it takes to suppress the military and other security agencies in the state.
“They do not have anything to suppress us. We have superior manpower, we have superior weapons and superior strategy to tackle the miscreants. We are assuring the people that the election will come and go. We have plans already for a peaceful and successful election in the state.”
