When Your Husband Marries Another Wife, That’s Not The End Of The World – Lady Vera Advises Women Whose Husbands Have Second Wives

Marriage counselor Vera Wiredu popularly called Lady Vera has advised ladies to be more responsible when their husbands marry second wives..

Instead of lamenting about the situation, she noted that wives shouldn’t relent but rather be able to fulfill their duties as women and leave their husbands to focus on what they aspire to do.

She made this declaration while commenting on the trending marriage revelation of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie who triggered concerns of many people after revealing that he has a son with an assumed second wife who is also an actress, Justin Austin Moghalu.

Lady Vera gave her advice while speaking in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM. She said,

“If a man has married one person, good. Take your responsibility as a wife seriously and don’t relent. If a man says he wants to marry more than one, I feel that as a woman all you need is for a man to fulfill his responsibility. So women should rise and take responsibility for themselves and not focus on what their husbands want to do”

She also asked “when your husband marries another wife, that’s not the end of the world. We are all working now, there are some people whose husbands are dead and others whose husbands are bedridden and the burden is now on them, what about that?
