Did You Know Black Slaves Were Forced To Mate Like Animals During The Colonial Era? – More Details Below

From the beginning of African slavery in the North American colonies, slaves were often viewed as property, rather than people. It is contended by some, that as early as the 1490s, Christopher Columbus established trade in s3x slaves on Hispaniola, which included s3x slaves as young as nine years old. Within 25 years of being colonized, the population of Hispaniola natives declined, dying from enslavement, massacre, or disease.

Slave breeding was the attempt by a slave-owner to increase the reproduction of his slaves for profit. It included forced s3xual relations between male and female slaves, encouraging slave pregnancies, s3xual relations between master and slave to produce slave children, and favoring female slaves who had many children. Female slaves who were considered good breeders could be forced into s3xual relations with male slaves who were similarly selected for reproductive efficiency in order to produce strong, hardworking offspring for the economic gain of their masters. The historian E. Franklin Frazier, in his book The Negro Family, stated that “there were masters who, without any regard for the preferences of their slaves, mated their human chattel as they did their stock.”

Black women were perceived to have unlimited and undiscriminating s3xual capacity and that paved the way for a rape culture within the framework of American slavery. Prior to the British journey to the New World, epic tales of imperialist travelers probed the minds of Europeans regarding the nature of African people. African men were said to have gigantic penises that could produce as many slave children as possible to work on the plantations for free.
