Presidential Election: Dele Momodu Advises Atiku To Accept Defeat

Published

on

Dele Momodu, the veteran journalist and publisher of Ovation International magazine has advised Atiku Abubakar to handle his presidential election defeat the ‘Goodluck Jonathan’ way.
It’s no news that most of the outcomes of the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria have been unfavourable to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
The incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari has been sweeping most of the northern states voraciously while he has been closing in on Atiku in his strongholds.

This might have formed Dele Momodu’s decision to advise Atiku to throw in the towel gracefully like a former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the same party did in 2015.

Dele who is one of the campaigners of the Atiku presidency took to his Twitter account and said:

“My dear WAZIRIN, as a believer, you are aware that onlu God can give or take power. You’ve written your name in gold . Do not wait a minute longer. Please, pick that phone and call President Muhammadu Buhari. You have much more to gain Sir….Pass on the burden!”

It should be noted that the results in Abuja and the 36 states in Nigeria are still being collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and the exercise is far from over.
