Young Man Stabbed To Death By Criminal Gang ‘Shila’ For Refusing To Hand Over His Phone (Photos)

A young man who refused to hand over his phone to a dangerous gang, notoriously known as ‘Shila’ in Yola, Adamawa state, has lost his life after he was stabbed by the assailants.

A Facebook user identified as Suleiman Bello, has taken to the social networking platform to reveal how a young man identified as Mohammed Danladi Lade, was stabbed to death in Yola, the Adamawa state capital.

According to family members, the deceased, a graduate of the Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola, was stabbed to death with dagger by members of a notorious gang called ‘Shila’ during Sallah celebration on Monday, June 18, at Polo ground in Yola Town.

It was gathered that the gang attacked him and tried to snatch his phone but he refused to hand it over. They then stabbed him with a dagger. He was rushed to the hospital but died on the way.

Suleiman narrated the story on social media and wrote;

“This is Mohammed Danladi Lade my friend that is no more with us whereby Allah SW has taken him (innaa lillahi wa innaa ilaihi raji’un) this evening 5pm at polo ground yola town by some set of Gang called SHILA very dangerous group latest now in town which they are easy to be spotted roaming in town, you might have seen them overoaded in a commercial try cyclist (KEKE NAPEP) attacking people on road side violently with different type of harmful things such as dagger, gun e.t.c.

That indiscipline set of gang (SHILA) attacked him to snatch his phone where by he refused to comply to their needs before he realizes, they stabbed him with a dagger as you can his photo below before the community understand what was happening to rescue him by taking to the hospital, on the way to the hospital for emergency we lost him and his burial will take place tomorrow by the grace of God.
