Nigeria vs Argentina: Banky W reacts to Super Eagles’ loss
Popular RnB musician, Bankole Wellington better known as Banky W, Tuesday night reacted to the Super Eagles’ 2 – 1 loss to Argentina in the FIFA World Cup Group D clash.
Banky W said although the Nigerian side lost the game, he was proud of the Super Eagles because they played with passion.
The ‘Lagos Party’ crooner wrote on Twitter: “Our boys played with HEART today. We may lose the game but I’m *VERY* proud of them. #NGAARG”
Argentine Captain, Lionel Messi, had put his side ahead with a 14 minutes strike.
But, Victor Moses leveled up for the Eagles through a penalty kick at the start of the second half.
However, Marcos Rojo gave the South Americans their first win of the tournament with a clinical finish less than 10 minures to the final whistle.
