The conversation Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, had with his team-mates at half time during their game against Nigeria on Tuesday, has been revealed.
The Albiceleste needed to win the game, to stand the chance of qualifying for the round of 16.

Messi opened the scoring before the break, before Victor Moses equalized from the spot in the second half.

Marcos Rojo netted the winner for the South Americans in the dying seconds and has now revealed how Messi motivated him to score.

“During halftime, Messi said that all of us have the duty to score so whenever we get the chance, we shoot, no matter our position.

“So when I saw that ball coming towards me, I kicked it in with all that I had in me and [laughs] it went in,” Rojo told reporters in the mixed zone.
