Sanchez Rejects £400,000-a-Week Chinese Offer

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has rejected a £400,000-per-week contract offer from Chinese Super League outfit Hebei China Fortune as he prefers a move to Manchester City, according to reports.

The Chilean international is approaching the final six months of his deal at the Emirates Stadium and doesn’t appear to be any closer to signing an extension despite retaining his status as a regular in the Gunners XI so far this season.

With the transfer window set to reopen at the beginning of next month, Alexis will be able to negotiate with foreign clubs in regards to a free transfer in the summer.

However, after being heavily linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium a few months ago, it would appear that the 28-year-old has his heart set on a reunion with his former manager at Barcelona in Pep Guardiola and is willing to go great lengths in order to such a deal done.
