One of our-time and all-time greatest footballers Lionel Messi was pictured having a casual holiday with his loved ones.
Barcelona forward is relaxing with his girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo and their 20-month-old son Thiago on board of the luxury yacht, Daily Mail reports.
Being among the world top highest paid footballers, the Argentinian can afford it and seems to have emotionally recovered after his team’s loss in the final of 2014 FIFA World Cup.
It would be recalled that Barcelona’s number 10 was expected to lead his team to the victory in the last tournament game against Germany. However, Messi’s magic didn’t work, and the match ended up in 1-0 win by the Europeans.
The footballer could not hide his disappointment even though he was recognized as the best player of the Mundial and presented with Golden Ball award. Meanwhile Antonella stood by her man’s side throughout the whole tournament, proudly supporting him all the time.
Speaking in one of the interviews the star footballer said that he considers son Thiago his biggest achievement in life. He was quoted saying by El Periodico newspaper:
“He has changed my life and he is the most important thing. In the past, I would get home and continue as if I was still outside and if things were not going well, I would shut myself away. Now I get home, see my son and I get over everything. Thiago has changed me more than all my Balon d’Or.”
