Delta state Police PRO clashes with top betting punter Mr. Bayo on Twitter over cut tickets
There was mild drama on Twitter on Friday, after DSP Bright Edafe of the Delta Police Command clashed with a popular betting punter who is popularly known as Mr. Bayo..
Edafe quoted a tweet Bayo put out and wrote: “If you know what’s good for you, block this bayo of a guy now, don’t ask me why, just take it as security advice.
“I dey advice una, una dey talk another thing, okay na.”
In response, the punter told the Police PRO “I will take this as a cruise and wait for you to respond to my DM before I say anything further!!!”

Edafe went on to post a betting slip that Bayo had shared earlier, indicating that he had lost the bet.
The exchange has led to varying opinions on the X app, with one @AcedTips writing “Yet again, I’m left wondering who trains the Nigerian Police? Their actions and behavior continue to raise serious concerns about their training and professionalism. #PoliceTraining.”
