Inter Miami superstar, Lionel Messi, has said he is one of the few players who has achieved everything in football.

The Argentina international led his national team to Copa America glory two years ago and their third World Cup title in 2022.

Messi previously won league titles in Spain and France. He also lifted the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup with Barcelona in the 21 years he spent at the La Liga team.

The 36-year-old told ESPN Argentina that he is lucky to have achieved everything on the individual and club level.

He also emphasised that there are few players who can say they have achieved everything in football like him.

The forward played an instrumental role by recording seven goals and three assists during Argentina’s run to their third World Cup title.

“If a movie had to be made, no one would have thought of it like that. That it happened the way it did after everything that had happened, the disappointments in the Copa América and World Cups, was extraordinary, impressive.

“She (The World Cup) is the most desired by everyone. Anyone dreams big and the biggest thing is to be a champion with your national team. I was lucky to achieve everything at the club level in Barcelona and also at the individual level. It was the only one I was missing. There are few players who can say they achieved everything. And thank God I’m one of them.

“With effort, sacrifice, work, and humility, in the end, you achieve your goals. The road can be hard, but you have to keep fighting for your dreams to try to achieve them. Sometimes it happens, other times it doesn’t, but you never have to stop to try it. I love playing ball, I love coming to the national team, I love being on the premises and before I couldn’t enjoy it like today,” Messi said.
