Outrage as police arrest ritualist with fresh human head in Ibadan

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) Oyo State Command has confirmed the arrest of one Hassan Kolawole with a fresh human head in Ibadan, the state capital.

The 45-year-old suspected ritualist was among suspects paraded on Friday at the Command Headquarters at Eleyele in Ibadan North-West Local Government Area of the state.

Nine other suspects with him were reportedly arrested at different locations in the state for various criminal activities.

They were paraded by the state Commissioner of Police, Adebola Hamzat, through the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso.

Items recovered from the suspects include a fresh human head, hands, and one HP Laptop.

Meanwhile, the arrest of the suspected ritualist has generated outrage on social media with concern over rising cases of ritualists in the state.
