Nigerian journalist, tycoon, and politician Dele Momodu has explained the incident that happened between Gov Adeleke and Ooni of Ife.

Dele Momodu has dispelled rumors that arose about the meeting between Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi CFR.
The governor and the monarch met at a function in Ondo State. In a brief yet captivating video, Governor Adeleke casually approached the throne.
The governor chose to greet other guests at the table instead of shaking hands with the Ooni of Ife when he raised his hand.
After watching the video, online users insisted that Adeleke ignored the Ooni.
Many people were embarrassed for the monarch as a result of the video, while others came together to support Adeleke’s actions.
Dele Momodu addressed the issue on Instagram after noticing the snub rumours were spreading like wildfire. He posted an extensive video that showed the close relationship that developed between the governor and the Ooni of Ife when Gov. Adeleke turned back to shake hands.
Dele Momodu shared the video and noted that it is customary for kings to avoid shaking hands with other people.
