Wizkid finally breaks silence following mother’s death
Nigerian award-winning singer, Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has cancelled his upcoming album, ‘more love less ego‘ tour.
This comes months after the ‘bad to me’ singer lost his mother in cold hands of death in August 18th 2023.
Wizkid had previously postponed his ‘More love less ego’ tour to fall 2023, that is September to December, due to unforeseen circumstances.
In recent development, Wizkid’s management released a statement, stating that the album tour has been cancelled and fans, who booked for the show, will be refunded within 3-5 days.
The post reads,
“Hi there, This event has been cancelled… The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that the show on 14 October 2023 has been cancelled.”
“The following statement has been issued: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am cancelling my upcoming tour dates in Europe. I’m already working with my team and will be back soon.”
“We’ve already issued a refund for your booking – so you don’t need to do a thing. You’ll see a credit onto the method of payment you used within 3-5 days”.
