Rapper Falz calls for urgent national prayers as he recently underwent surgery following a complete tear on ACL (Video below)
Popular Nigerian rapper Falz in a recent video calls for national prayers as he reveals that he recently underwent surgery.
Falz made this disclosure to all and sundry in a clip shared via his verified Instagram page today, May 10th, 2023.
According to Falz, he went through surgery on the 2nd of May, 2023 following a complete tear on his ACL following a football match.
Narrating how it all happens, Falz in a November 26th, 2022 video of him walking with a limb said on November 23rd he went to play football and he sustained a knee injury, a serious one.
Falz added that on November 30th, 2022 after an initial hospital visit, the MRI result shows a complete tear on his ACL (Anterior Cruciate ligament) and was advised to go through surgery to fix it that falls on May 2nd, 2023.
He shows the pre-operation video of him cracking jokes in London at the hospital as he talks about being at the Met Gala. He also talks about taking pounded yam and Egusi soup.
The singer added that about 1.5 hours later ACL reconstruction was done through local and general anesthetic.
Parts of the video show Falz taking drips and walking through the use of crutches. He accompanied the video with the caption;
“Current situation 🤕🤕 It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me 🤲🏽.”
