A Nigerian man has shared a video showing two of the leading political parties in the country putting on what seems to be a joint rally.

An All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign vehicle and a Peoples Democratic Party car were spotted driving in a convoy in Edo state.

Interestingly the music being played from speakers on the the vehicles was Eedris Abdulkareem’s hit song, Jaga Jaga.

The guy who filmed the interesting sight was flabbergasted when he saw the APC car closely following the PDP vehicle.

One of the cars had a poster of former Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole who is running for senate.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), governorship candidate in Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor), has dismissed reports that PDP in the state was working for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

He condemned some individuals in branded PDP uniforms who were seen in a viral video campaigning for the LP flagbearer.

Jandor, in a statement on Saturday by the Head, Media and Communications, JANDOR4GOVERNOR Campaign Organisation, Gbenga Ogunleye, said that the purported campaign for Obi was a hatchet job.

He said; “The action carried out by some unidentified individuals in the party uniforms does not in any way represent the position of Lagos PDP in the forthcoming presidential election.”

He noted that his ongoing campaign tour of the 245 wards in the state had always emphasised on the importance of voting for the PDP presidential candidate, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

Jandor said that he had always emphasised the fact that Abubakar’s electoral victory would brighten his chances at the March 11 governorship election in the state.

The PDP candidate disassociated himself “from such condemnable anti-party activity and promised that the perpetrator if by any chance are confirmed to be party members, will be sanctioned.”

“I enjoin all Lagos PDP members and the good people of the state to ignore the said video. PDP members should remain resolute in their conviction to change the government at the federal level by voting massively for Atiku/Okowa ticket which promises to rescue the nation from the current hardship,” he added.
