“They Want To Come Back, That’s How They Deceived Obi When He Left “Okokorokoo” – Tinubu Tells Igbos
Ahead of the next month’s presidential election, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has claimed that some unknown members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, deceived Mr Peter Obi to exit “Kokorokoo”(APGA) and join PDP and later the Labour Party to contest for president.
Speaking further, the APC presidential candidate claimed that those individuals who deceived Peter Obi when he left the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, now want to come back to power.
Bola Tinubu made this disclosure during the APC presidential campaign rally in Enugu on Wednesday, Premium Times Nigeria reported.
Furthermore, the APC presidential candidate urged the residents of the south east not to listen former president Olusegun Obasanjo and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, on who they should vote for, in February.
Tinubu said:
“They feel they want to vote Obi. They want to come back (to power). That’s how they deceived your brother(Peter Obi) when he left Okokorokoo and joined Labour (Party)…….”
In addition, Bola Tinubu urged the Igbos not to listen to the PDP presidential candidate, claiming that members of the PDP have fooled them several times since 1999.
Mr Tinubu also reminded Ndi Igbo that the PDP failed to build the second Niger bridge for 16 years and ate the money, abused themselves, reminding them that it was the APC government that completed the bridge.
