“Tell Nigerians what you will do for them & stop attacking Tinubu with your ongoing campaign” – Rafia

Oseni Rufai, a journalist and presenter from Nigeria, discussed the Labour Party Rally in Ibadan during the Arise TV morning show. He claimed that it was a huge success because the party gathered a lot of supporters at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.

Rufai, on the other hand, expressed his displeasure with the way Labour Party governorship candidate Tawfiq Akinwale disparaged Tinubu in his remarks to rally attendees.

At the rally, Tawfiq Akinwale alleged that Tinubu had forsaken the Yoruba people and asked them not to back him.

In response to this, Oseni Rufai stated that Tawfiq Akinwale was not authorized to criticize Tinubu when speaking to the youth. The people should be told what you intend to accomplish for them rather than being attacked, Rufai continued.

“I don’t believe in targeting political rivals,” he claimed. I vehemently disagree with the way the Labour Party’s candidate for governor of Oyo attacked Bola Tinubu. No, make your case and explain what you would do to help the populace.

Stop provoking conflict and all that. Your conversation should center on what you would do for the people, not “Oh, he didn’t do this, he didn’t do that.”
