Former Anambra state governor and current minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has stated that the presidential candidate of the Labour party, Mr Peter Obi made a grievous mistake during his first tenure as governor of the state. It would be recalled that both Mr Peter Obi and Chris Ngige ruled Anambra state at different terms.

Speaking to Seun during yesterday’s edition of Politics Today on Channels Television, Chris Ngige said Mr Peter Obi was not on the same line with him on the issue of infrastructure during his first tenure as governor. According to Ngige, the Presidential candidate of the Labour party later realized that he made a mistake by not agreeing with him.

“Peter Obi was building on my foundation even though he disagreed with me on infrastructure. For the first tenure he didn’t do infrastructure but he realized it was a grievous mistake when we met in the ballot in 2010 and when we met in the ballot in the senatorial election in our senatorial district.” he said.
