2023: Sultan of Sokoto hit Rivers for Wike (Photos)
The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, on Friday paid a visit on the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike in Port Harcourt.
The Sultan was in Port Harcourt to declare open the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria’s 37th Annual National Conference.
He decided to visit Wike on the sideline. Details about their meeting was not made public.

Wike has been having a running battle with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the build-up to 2023 presidency..
Many emissaries had been sent to beg the Rivers Governor but he has remained adamant and refused to buckle under intense pressure.
