The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter has addressed the issue of tribal politics in a video going viral on social media. In the video, Peter Obi confirmed that he met with the spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed who hails from the core North to discuss issues affecting the country.

Recall that Dr. Hakeem had once tweeted that he spent some quality time with Peter Obi and hoped that people who saw him as a tribal candidate would have a rethink and see him for who he truly is.

However, in the video, Peter Obi said he told Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed that the coming election is not about tribe or religion. He noted that he asked him to tell him where Muslims buy bread and he would go there to buy it.

Or where Muslims live in abundance with good roads and electricity, adding that he, Peter Obi would go there to live. Speaking further, he stated that the President of the country, Muhammadu Buhari is from Katsina but the people of Katsina live in fear even more than the people of Anambra State.
