Nigerian Soldiers Sent For Peace Keeping In Cross River Turn ‘Terrorists’ And Set Buildings Ablaze (Photos below)
Nigeria Army soldiers deployed to restore peace in Nko and Oyeadama warring communities in Yakurr LGA of Cross River Central Senatorial District are allegedly and currently destroying houses, brutalising and beating up the locals both male and female in Nko community IgbereTV has learned.
According to Edujandon.com, this development is following an alleged report that, one of their soldiers was shot on Saturday.
The soldiers where in Nko community on Saturday and started shooting sporadically to the extent that they shot a serving police officer, so the already irked youths had to protest the invasion of their community by the soldiers and that resulted to the altercation and the later report that a soldier was shot.
A concerned source has said the attention of the Nigerian Army authority is immediately needed to call erring officers to order.
According to locals, as at Sunday the army has killed two young men. This is yet to be confirmed by IgbereTV.
