‘I Never Planned To Do Music’ – Naira Marley

Renowned Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola who is widely known as Naira Marley has indicated that he never planned to do music..

The COMING crooner made this known in a recent radio interview he had with the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.

In his submission, he said;

“I have been to jail once. I was put on remand. Growing up in London, my dad did not allow us to speak English. We spoke Yuroba because he said he will learn the English outside.

Back then in UK, I made a very big song that got me into the limelight.
The video we shot for it got about 5M views. I never planned to get into music”

Days ago, Naira Marley was in the news as he shared his thoughts on why he has haters in the Nigerian music industry.

According to him, some people started hating him because he refused to be controlled. He stated that some of his colleagues began hating him when they couldn’t control or influence him.

Again, he revealed that, they also dislike him because he has refused to keep their company. Naira Marley made this known in a post he shared via his verified twitter page. “They hate me cos they can’t control me, they hate me because they can’t influence me, they hate me because I don’t keep their company, they hate me for being me. Ha”
