“God Forbid That I Ever Respect Fani Kayode Again For Saying Muslim-Muslim Ticket Is Fine” -John Niyi Lament (Details below)
The exclusive interview former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode granted to Channels Television yesterday evening has been attracting mixed reactions from Nigerians.
It would be recalled that in the course of yesterday’s edition of Politics Today on Channels Television, Fani-Kayod e said he is fine with Muslim-Muslim ticket when he was asked about Asiwaju Tinubu running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
According to Fani-Kayode, nothing is wrong if Asiwaju decided to go for a muslim running mate from the North. Reacting on Fani-Kayode’s statement, Vice President West Africa, Pan-African Youth Union and former NYCN President , Oladele John Niyi said he is disappointed in the former aviation minister.
Speaking through his Facebook page, Niyi said he can never support a Muslim-Muslim ticket or Christian-Christian ticket.
“God forbid that I ever listen or respect Femi Fani-Kayode again. That he can even say Muslim-Muslim ticket is fine on a National TV is surprising.
