Singer Jaywon Slams D’Banj Over Song Theft

Nigerian singer, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare known professionally as Jaywon has called out his older and veteran colleague D’Banj over music theft..

Jaywon stormed social media to reveal that the ‘Kokomaster’ cleverly stole a song belonging to a budding artiste under his management.

Giving background details on how things went down, the music executive said D’Banj had previously called him to ask that his artiste drop his song but they declined the request.

However, D’Banj and his team still went ahead to release the song without permission or clearance which is a clear violation of the copyright law.

Jaywon wrote; “After calling to ask my artist to drop his song and we refused your offer then you went ahead to release the song. Abah @iambangalee and management. You can do better”
