PDP Presidential Primary As Tompolo Storms Abuja With 1000 Militants (Details below)
Over one thousand militants from Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) have stormed the Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for the ongoing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Primary Election.
The militants group were in Abuja, venue of the primary in solidarity for one of the presidential aspirants, Nyesom Wike, who also is the Governor of Rivers State.
Mobilizing these men to the Nigeria’s capital was the former Nigerian Militant Commander of MEND, Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo with the aim to intimidate delegates who have collected the sum of six thousand dollars from the governor.
A reliable source within the camp noted that their Commander, Ekpemupolo popularly known as Tompolo has threatened to deal with any delegates who collected money and refused to vote for Wike at the primary.
He revealed that list of names of all those delegates have been sent to them while waiting for the outcome of the election.
While responding on how to detect those who might not vote for Wike after,, he said that they have developed strategy to know who will vote for or against as the election is going, but would not divulge it to the media.
He remarked that their leader, Tompolo who also is the Chief Priest of the Egbesu deity, which is the Niger-Deltan god of war is fully on ground to deal with the betrayals accordingly.
However, the presidential primary is still going on at Moshood Abiola Olawale (MKO) National stadium as at time of reporting.
