Wizkid Finally Reacts To Grammy Award Loss

Highly rated Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known within the showbiz circles as Wizkid has finally reacted to his double loss at the 2022 edition of the Grammy Awards..

Wizkid’s album, ‘Made In Lagos’ was nominated for the Best Global Music Album category but lost to legendary musician, Angelique Kidjo’s ‘Mother Nature’ album. ‘Essence’ also lost the Best Global Music Performance to Arooj Aftab’s ‘Mohabbat’.

Reacting to the loss, the multiple award winning singer and Starboy Entertainment head took to his official Instagram page to send a congratulatory messages to Angelique Kidjo and Black Coffee for their Grammy wins.

Angelique Kidjo won a Grammy for the Best Global Music Album, whiles South African DJ, Black Coffee also bagged an award for the best dance/electronic album category, becoming the first African DJ to win a Grammy Award
