In March, Osimhen scored four goals in three league outings as Napoli maintained their Scudetto push.

The 23-year-old scored twice in each of Partenopei’s victories over Udinese and Hellas Verona.

Osimhen won the award ahead of AC Milan’s Pierre Kalulu and on-loan Fiorentina midfielder Lucas Torreira.

And he scored and assisted in Napoli’s 3-2 defeat to Fiorentina on Sunday at the Diego Maradona stadium.

This season, he has 12 goals and four assists in 21 appearances in the Italian Serie A.

Napoli dropped to third place in the league table, behind AC Milan and Inter Milan, following the defeat.
