“I Was Asked To Stay Mad For Some Years Before Becoming Rich”- Ritualist Confesses (Details below)
A suspected ritualist who was apprehended in Lagos has narrated his ordeal after he was caught under the breach pretending to be mad.
The case which happened in Lagos January 2019 saw the mad man been paraded by angry mobs who later handed him over to the police for further investigations.
The incident happened Barely two days after a huge ritualist hidout was discovered under the bridge at Obadeyi bus- stop, Ijaiye, Lagos- Abeokuta road, according to reports the Lagos state police discovered yet another suspected ritualist hidout at Ile- Zik on the Lagos/Abeokuta Expressway very close to Ikeja, the Lagos state capital.
Some Items which was found in the hidout included different human parts, clothing items and others. The police fired tear gas canisters to smoke out two of the suspected ritualist hiding inside the den. One of the suspects who posed as a mad man but had a sharp knife on him was immediately apprehended.
The suspect upon his arrest by the police confessed and accepted the crime, according him he has been leaving in the bridge for a very long time now and has been posing as mad person which he was definitely not mad.
He added that he was a ritualist who was asked to stay mad for some years before he becomes rich.
He further added that under the bridge was were some ritualist who were in the same condition with him usually comes to stay before they go out and become rich.
The suspect who was forcefully pushed into the police van said he was not a mad mam but was only looking for how he can be rich.
So many incriminating itmes were recovered from the man during his arrest.
The man was taken to the police station for more investigations before he will be charged to court.
