3 Young Men Confess After Being Arrested For Killing They Friend, Removes His Heart And Sell His Organs (Details below)

Three young men purportedly killed their friend, pierced his body and removed his heart in Osun state. They were arrested by the police command of Osun state for killing their friend in Osogbo/OAU Ife Campus Road.

The three young men Identified as 25- year- old Olayade Kehinde, 21- year- old Raimi Sheriff and Olufemi Oriyomi, were apprehended on Thursday, 7 April, by security operatives who were on ‘ stop and search’ duty.

How the police ‘ Stop and Search’ exercise lead to their arrest

On Friday, 15 April, 2022, SP Yemisi Opalola, The Command’ s spokesperson, confirmed the arrest, saying that the three suspects were flagged down by security agents who were on ‘ Stop and Search’ , ” but rather than stop, they sped off, and were pursued.

The Police succeeded in catching them and they were searched thoroughly. During the searching, the police found human heart in one of the bags the trio were carrying. They also found different types of charms inside another bag.

Following this, they were arrested and were taken to a police station in Safejo area of Ile- Ife.

The three young men were questioned by the authority and during the interrogation, they told the police how they killed one of their friends and removed his heart for ritual purposes.

Few hours after their arrest, one of the suspects Identified as Oriyomi became sick and was immediately rushed to the hospital by the police. Unfortunately, Oriyomi died while on admission in an undisclosed hospital.

We gathered that the corpse of the suspect was sent to the state hospital for an autopsy examination.

Yemisi Opalola said that the remaining two suspects will soon be charged to court once the police is done with its investigation.

Confirming the report to newsmen, the commissioner of police in the state, Olawale Olokode, however, asked caregivers in Osun to always monitor their children, and to also warn them against keeping bad company that would lead them into doing unlawful things.

He, however, admonished Young people in the country to always engage themselves in legal business, and shun anything that will jeopardize their brighter future, which includes all forms of ‘ get rich quick’ syndrome, like Internet fraud and others.

Cases of ritual killings have been appearing on our timeline lately. Within the last couple of months, tens of both young and Middle- aged men were caught with human parts.

How another Man was arrested with human parts in Osun

Some months ago, a suspected ritualist was caught by operatives of the Osun Western security network agency, Amotekun, possessing dismembered human parts.

The man was caught at Igege town, in Ola- Oluwa South- East Development Area as on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. According to report, the man was caught by locals, who forcefully made him to open the ‘ Ghana Must Go’ bag he was carrying.

On unpacking the bag, residents were shocked to see mutilated human parts. This development made residents to attack the suspect, as he was attacked with sticks and other weapons.

The attention of the Osun western security network agency, Amotekun, was drawn and members of the security network stormed the scene.

When they arrived, they saw the mutilated human parts that the man was possessing and they arrested him. After his arrest, the security network handed him over to the state police command.

Reacting to the report, the Field Commander of the security network in the state, Amitolu Shittu, confirmed the news and detailed that the case will undergo diligent investigation.

He explained that the suspect had been transferred to Osogbo for proper investigation and prosecution.

When contacted, Yemisi Opalola, the spokesman of the state police command, also confirmed the report and said that the command received brief details about the incident.

Yemisi maintained that newsmen would be informed concerning any development that arise from the arrest of the unnamed man.

Three months after the incident was first reported, the media have not received any report from the police command as it regards to the case of the man that was caught with mutilated human parts.

However, members of the Public have asked the police to make sure that the suspect is persecuted over the death of the unnamed victim.
