“Absolute Rubbish” – Shehu Sani Blasts Terrorists For Claiming Victim Was Released Because Of Ramadan (Details below)
Former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has angrily blasted the terrorists responsible for the recent Abuja-Kaduna train bomb attack for attempting to hide under religion.
Sani who described the terrorists as godless said they can’t be shedding the blood of innocent people and at the same time using Ramadan or God’s name to try and create public sympathy for their devilish acts.
The former lawmaker said this on Thursday while reacting to claims by the terrorists in a video that they released one of their victims, the managing director of the Bank of Agriculture (BoA) Alwan Ali-Hassan in the spirit of Ramadan and his old age after he pleaded with them.
Taking to his Twitter account, Sani said the claim by the terrorists is absolute rubbish.
He wrote:“The video footage of Terrorists claiming kind gesture because of “Fasting month of Ramadan” is absolute rubbish. You can’t shed the blood of innocent people and kidnap hostages for ransom and use the name of Allah or Ramadan to colour your heinous atrocities. Godless!”
Meanwhile, the terrorists in the trending video, asked the government to meet their demands or they will kill the abducted victims with them.
The terrorists who spoke in a video obtained by Naija News on Wednesday threatened to “turn their abode into an abattoir” if the government fails to do the needful.
Though they failed to identify the specific thing they want, the terrorists disclosed that they are not after money but the government knows what they want and should be fast in meeting their demands.
