A brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and goals from Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres saw Barcelona run riot at the Bernabeu. What an embarrassing performance by Carlo Ancelotti’s side, while on the sidelines it was Xavi Hernandez who outwitted the Italian.
They are the winners in El Clasico – and not just by a minor margin either(0-4). They have absolutely thrashed Real Madrid in the latter’s own home of Santiago Bernabeu to walk away with one of the most favous victories they’ve notched for years.
Los Blancos and Carlo Ancelotti missed Karim Benzema today but even so, that is no excuse for a result quite like this. But for Xavi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ferran Torres and the rest? This is the dream. It doesn’t get much better than this in La Liga.
