Burna Boy replies Shatta Wale after the Ghanaian challenged him to a battle
Grammy winner, Burna Boy has said he’s ready to fight with Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale after he disrespected Nigerians.
Burna Boy challenged Shatta Wale to a street fight as he accused the musician of having bad intentions towards Nigerians. He urged Shatta Wale to take up the challenge so that they can settle the beef once and for all. .
Recall that Shatta Wale had some days ago called out Nigerian artists, making unfavourable statements against them.
According to Shatta Wale, Nigerian artists have become famous for using the Ghanaian music industry to promote themselves.
Shatta Wale added that Nigerian musicians are not giving Ghanaians the same opportunity they have in their country. He said ‘f**k Nigerian musicians’.
This statement sparked reactions from top personalities in the music industry including Wizkid who spoke about it at his concert.
According to Wizkid, the love he has for everyone across the globe is equal. Reacting to the drama via a post on his official social media timeline, Burna Boy noted that Shatta Wale’s new agenda of separation is a grave disservice to the next generation.
Burna Boy noted that if Shatta Wale has a hidden agenda against him, he’s open to a one on one fight.
The talented singer wrote: “PUSHING THIS AGENDA OF SEPARATION BETWEEN OUR BEAUTIFUL AFRICAN NATIONS IS A GRAVE DISSERVICE TO THE GENERATIONS COMING AFTER US, AND IT GOES AGAINST EVERYTHING I STAND FOR AS A MAN AND AS AN UNAPOLOGETIC PAN AFRICANIST. THEREFORE, IF SHATTA OR ANYONE HAS A PERSONAL PROBLEM WITH ME. I’M STILL OPEN TO FIGHT 1 ON 1 AND SQUASH IT AFTER, THE SAME WAY I’VE ALWAYS BEEN. NOBODY WILL RUIN THE UNITY WE CONTINUOUSLY TRY TO BUILD FOR A STRONGER AND BETTER AFRICA.” SEE SCREENSHOT BELOW
