In the video, the fan who was thrilled by Tems’ performance decided to bless her with a $1 nite, probably the last money he had on him because he was in love with her performance on stage.

However, his intentions was declined as Tems took the money from him and threw it back at him saying it is just a dollar. Maybe Tems would have accepted something bigger than the dollar, hence she saw no need in taking the note from the fan although she was grateful for the love.
