Antonio Conte allegedly regrets accepting Tottenham’s job – Brazil
Former Tottenham and Manchester United striker, Alan Brazil, believes Antonio Conte must be feeling some regret for joining the north London club..
Brazil, who played for both Man United and Tottenham said the Italian may be regretting not waiting for the Old Trafford job.
Conte was the bookies’ favourite to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back at the start of November, but clearly became impatient and hastily moved to Tottenham.
“Conte, he’ll never admit it but he must be saying why didn’t I just wait,” Brazil said on talkSPORT
“Why didn’t I just wait. I’d now be standing on the touchline at Old Trafford.
“It was crystal clear that Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] was on thin ice.”
Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday after a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Watford but not before Conte had accepted another job
And Ralf Rangnick now looks set to replace the Norwegian on a six-month deal.
