Weirdest Records In The Guinness Book Of World Records (Photos below)

The Guinness Book of World Records is a reference book published annually listing world records of both human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. It was originally published in 1995 and is still being published to date. In this article, I will be listing some of the weird records on the Guinness Book Of World Records.

1. The Girl With The Longest Legs:

A 17 year old girl named Maci Currin from USA set the world record for having the longest legs in 2020. Maci is 6 feet and 10 inches tall but her legs make up 60% of her height which is more than half.

2. The Largest Hairy Family

The Ramos Gomez family set the world record for being the largest hairy family in 2000. Four members of a family of 19 from Mexico named Victor Larry Gomez, Gabriel Danny Ramos Gomez, Luisa Lilia De Lira Aceves and Jesus Manuel Fajardo Aceves suffer from a congenital generalized hypertrichosis ( Excessive Facial And Torso Hair ).

3. The Lady With The Longest Fingernails

Lee Redmond from America set the record for having the longest fingernails in the world in 2008. She started growing her nails since 1979. Her nails are 28 feet and 4 inches long which is the length of all her fingernails in total.

4. The Guy witih The Longest Tongue

Nick Stoeberl who is nicknamed ” The Lick” from Monterey, California holds the Guinness World Record for having the longest tongue since 2012. His tongue is 10. 10 cm long.

5. The Man With The Stretchiest Skin

Garry Turner holds the record for having the stretchiest skin in the world. He can comfortably stretch the skin of his stomach up to 6. 25 inches and he doesn’ t feel any pain when doing so. This is brought about by Ehlers- Danlos Syndrome which is a connective- tissue disorder where the collagen becomes defective and includes the loosening of the skin and hyper- mobile joints.

6. The Man Who Balanced The Highest Number Of Spoons On His Body

Dalibor Jablanovic from Serbia set the record for balancing 79 teaspoons of various sizes on his body in 2016.

7. The Man Who Made The Tallest Hat In The World

Odilon Ozare from the USA invented the world tallest hat which is 15 feet and 9 inches tall in 2018. For him to be a valid record holder he was required to walk 10 m with his hat on and he did it.

8. The Shortest Male Living Horse

Bombel of Poland set the record as being the shortest male living horse measuring 22. 36 inches in 2018.

9. The Female Teenager With The Longest Hair

Nilanshi Patel from India set the record for having the teenager with the longest hair in 2018. Her hair is 5 feet 7 inches long.
