News on the attacks on the police headquarter and correctional center in the early hours of Monday came as a shock to many Nigerians especially due to the massive havoc and ruins recorded. Lots of cars were burnt to ashes at the police headquarter just as the prison facilities harboring at least 2000 Inmates got destroyed.Inmates freed as Correctional center attacked by unknown gunmenAs collected from social media, the cars in the picture to be shared below were burnt beyond repair and with the looks of things, they won’ t get back to usage due to the gruesome effect of the fire on them.See Photos below:This attack has set great worries in mind of people and has made fear become a dose for many. If a police station can be burnt down, what is the assurance that civilians won’ t be attacked by wicked gunmen or terrorist. The south that was once peaceful is now experiencing restlessness without clarity on those behind the sudden change from peace.The security situation of Nigeria is getting complicated day by day, with no signs of breakthrough. The government need to stand up work on so many things and do more. The north is not safe, south is not safe and the west also is experiencing deep changes from serenity to chaos.And for evil perpetrators, we plead and want you to back off from your evil deed and let Nigeria rest from trouble. We plead that you let Nigeria know what peace means and for once again we want a Nigeria without war or killings, tears and unnecessary destruction and killing.
