However, what a self acclaimed Islamic cleric recently tried did to a 15- year old just goes to indicate that some individuals are willing to do the unimaginable simply because of money. Meanwhile, if not for the grace of the almighty that saved the young girl, who knows what may have happened to her.

What did he attempt to to do?

According to reports, the 36- year old man who goes by the name Amodu Jamiu, approached and lured the 15- year old victim who was coming back from work, into an uncompleted Building, where he had planned to execute his devilish plan. Seeing that the young girl was in a state of unconsciousness, Amodu reportedly undressed the girl and used a white piece of cloth to rub every part of her body.

Fortunately, according to the statement that was noted, a good helper who had seen the entire incident came to her rescue. However, after the matter was reported to the Ogun state police, the Divisional police officer (DPO) Sango division, CSP Godwin Idehai, charged his detectives to go after the person. And when Amodu had been arrested, he confessed that he had planned to inflict the girl with a illness so as to extort money from her parents, as he had done to different persons.
