Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette, has insisted that his teammates didn’t respect manager Mikel Arteta’s game plan in the first half of the Gunners’ 3-3 draw with West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday..

West Ham gave themselves a three-goal advantage inside 32 minutes, with Jesse Lingard, Jarred Bowen and Tomas Soucek scoring for the Hammers against Arsenal at the London Stadium.

But Arteta’s men drew level thanks to own goals from Soucek and Craig Dawson before Alexandre Lacazette’s header from substitute Nicolas Pepe’s cross to give both teams a point each.

“My feeling is mixed between being proud of the team because we came back in the second half and disappointed with the first half we did,” Lacazette told reporters during his post-match press conference after the game.

“The first 35 minutes, we didn’t respect the game plan from the coach with three goals for them, so this is not what we wanted.

He added, “I don’t know. Maybe we had the pressure because we knew it was a big game.

“This is where we have to improve as well, so we have to work to be ready for the end of the season.”

Arsenal’s next game is against Liverpool on April 4 after the international break
