Why will be Buhari-led government refuse to ensure the protection of it’s citizens? I am really in tears now because yearly, the reports always surface that some children are kidnapped by some bandits or terrorist groups.

Some hours ago, some school students and their teachers were released shortly after an Islamic cleric known as Sheikh Ahmad Gumi met and dialogued with the bandits. This also made me remember a young christian girl known as Leah Sharibu who was kidnapped alongside her classmate in Dapchi, Yobe state.

She was the only christian in the midst of over 100 students she refused to accept Islamic religion. Leah Sharibu’s classmates were released after negotiations from the Buhari-led government but this young girl is helplessly waiting for intervention since 19th February, 2018.

Her mother according to verified reports revealed that she was ready to accept Islamic religion and have a son-in-law provided that they release her daughter. Leah’s father, Nathan Sharibu in tears said that he would be the happiest man alive if his beloved daughter returns alive.

This young girl was just 16 years old when she was kidnapped and yet the Buhari-led government hasn’t cared or given concern about her predicament. I pray she comes back alive, her parents have been in tears for three years without seeing their daughter. What do you think about this?
