Nigerians were left in a state of mourning after terrible news broke in that an aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force crashed in Abuja with six people feared dead. According to a report from Edujandon.com, the aircraft departed Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 10:33 am with six persons on board, including 2 crew members.The journey that was meant to be a journey of several minutes or hours turned out to be a journey of eternity. The aircraft according to the report experienced a failure in its engine at 10:39 am and crash-landed on the final approach path of Abuja runway 22 at 10:48 am.According to a report from The Punch Newspaper, an eyewitness has narrated how the pilot’s heroic act prevented what would have been more catastrophic.
