See The Underage Girls And Boys That Were Arrested By The Police During Their Cult Initiation (Details below)

About four underage girls and nine teenage suspected cultists have been arrested by the police in Ogun state during their Cult Initiation process.

All the suspects were residents of Mosunmore Village near Kobape in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The girls and were underage between 10 and 13 while the boys were in their early teens; only their leader is 19 years of age. The police did not disclose their names at the point of the arrest.

The king of the community was said to have informed the police, because of the alarm raised by one of the suspected girl’ s mother, then acting on the information, detectives attached to Owode- Egba Police Divisional Headquarters, led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Shehu Alao, ran into action and succeeded in smoking them out of their camp during initiation of another set of girls.


Consequently, officers of Owode- Egba Division stormed the environment and successfully arrested the 13 youngsters in the process of initiating yet another set of underaged girls.

The girls, were all primary six school leavers, confessed to being lured into the group by their boyfriends.


Leader of the group known as ” Penalty Guys” , 19- year- old Tunde Adio, told journalists how he was initiated by one Tosin, also a resident of the community in January, 2017 and since then he has been very active in the system.

He told the police he wanted to initiate this young people so that they will also bring more people to the group.


Meanwhile, the state police commissioner Iliyasu has ordered that all the suspects be transferred to the Anti- Kidnapping and Cultism Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further investigation before the could be charge to court, he advised the rest of the young people in the community to Becareful of the friends the keep, what the do and the places the go.
