TROUBLE For Arteta As Players Become Rude Towards Him – See What Arsenal Players Are Saying About Him On Social Media

Arsenal defender William Saliba reportedly has no chance of breaking into Mikel Arteta’s first-team plans and is likely to leave the club on loan next month.

The 19-year-old joined the north London club from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2019 for £27million and immediately re-joined the French side on a season’s loan, however, he only made 17 appearances last term. According to Eurosport the Frenchman is unlikely to feature regularly for Arsenal under Arteta and could be sent on loan in order to further develop his game.

While Arteta may reiterate his stance on not featuring the teenager due to footballing reasons. Saliba has not made things any easier for himself in the behavioral department.

According to social media reports gathered by Scooper News, Arsenal youngster William Saliba and excited midfielder Mateo Guendozi decided to wash Arteta’s dirty linens in public, undermine their manager.

Saliba had commented on Guendozi’s social media post following his derby goal for Hertha Berlin in yesterday’s draw against

Borussia Moenchengladbach. Pepe teased the Central Back of having most of his issue stem from the fact that he comments on every social media post.

“This is your problem, you comment on everything,” Pepe said.

Saliba in response to the Ivory Cost international said: “Hahaha, I’m sending well wishes to the brother that was locked up like me”

Guendozi on a final note wrote: “We are together bro”.

The 19-year-old is still awaiting his competitive first-team debut for Arsenal following his £27m transfer from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2019 and it appears as though he might never get the chance.

It was believed that Saliba would be in contention to start for the Gunners this season, however, Arteta feels the young defender still needs a ‘transition year’ to get him to the required level.

During an interview with teammate Alexander Lacazette, William Saliba has suggested that he doesn’t yet feel like an Arsenal player.

In the clip uploaded to the club’s YouTube page, at around the 3.37-minute mark, both players are tasked with naming Arsenal’s French players.

Lacazette names Saliba, but the defender corrects his compatriot by saying: “I haven’t played yet!”

The pair find humour in the latter’s reaction, but the youngster remains adamant that he can’t be classed as one of Arsenal’s French players until he makes his competitive debut.
